The women victims of sexual abuse, dowry system, and domestic violence are being counseled at GVST and necessary guidance are provided. Women were also provided legal guidance and they were referred to District Legal Aid authority and appropriate solutions were provided.
Women receive intensive training to understand their rights and improve their decision-making skills, enabling them to handle daily challenges more effectively. In extreme cases, when issues need to be escalated, we ensure they are brought to the attention of higher authorities. Good Vision Seva Trust also organizes campaigns and protests to seek justice for these matters.
GVST in partnership with ECDF conducted a “One Day Seminar on NABARD Amendment Bill, 2006”, at Nagercoil. Similarly, another “State Level Two Days Residential Workshop on Draft CMZ Notification, was held in Chennai on 13th and 14th of August 2007.
